RICOH DTG is pleased to offer recommended ColorGate settings for each RICOH Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printer and garment to help our customers achieve the best prints possible. This update includes the preset settings to print on dark garments, light garments, direct-to-film, and other materials. With the availability of these preset packages, you can apply the best setting with just one click to produce the best image.
Before you start, please make sure you have the most recent MIM package installed from ColorGate. Kindly note that these settings have been extensively tested by our team at RICOH DTG and have proven to reliably produce good, consistent results. Keep in mind that there are no perfect settings. You will need to finetune them further to fit your specific garments and image. Don’t be afraid to experiment and print small test images before committing to an entire print, the final product will be worth the effort.

You will see the page below when you select the printer. Download the settings file(s) that fit your needs (make sure that you have the ColorGate version listed). You can also find the instructions on how to install and use these files.
